NATRESL, acronym for National Association of Teachers and Researchers in English as a Second Language, is an association that provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, classroom and research experience for language teachers, and platform for networking and professional development for these teachers.
MEMBERSHIP OF THE ASSOCIATION
Membership of the Association is open to all teachers of English language and other languages in tertiary institutions; associate membership is also open to teachers of English Language and Literature in primary and secondary schools.
PROGRESS MADE SO FAR BY NATRESL MEMBERS:
The impact of NATRESL members has been felt nationally and internationally. Members have led workshops at English Language Teaching Today (ELTT) Conferences, and on account of the gains derived from past ELTT Conferences, professional development and integration of technology in language teaching, members have shared their experiences and made presentations at different fora: e-learning conferences in Dakar, Senegal; Lusaka, Zambia; Cotonou, Republic of Benin; Windhoek, Namibia; Ormskirk, United Kingdom, Cape Town, South Africa; Toronto, Canada; Boston, Massachusetts, USA; Dar es Salam, Tanzania, and participated in online conferences and E-merge Africa Webinars.
